I dont think I want any more.. I hope to live in a place that I can go out my front door and walk for miles and see many with out keeping them... One thing you need to remember is "If" you plan on living in Arizona keeping anything not from Arizona is
    "Not" legal.
So I will just enjoy what they have to offer me and be happy with that........

A Gila would be amazing! Your cobra also intruiges me though feeding him seems unappealing. i wouldn't mind a large rattler but my wife would move out! I have to apreciate that she puts up with the 2 tarantulas though i indulge her love of rabbits (though I do occasionally salivate when I see them)

I like having reptiles around me in the wild, not trapped in a cage. A few weeks ago I saw an Eyelash Viper coiled up on a leaf. After spending some time letting it get accustomed to my presence, I was able to reach and touch it without it becoming alarmed. I would never want to capture and imprison it. Why would anyone want to keep a King Cobra locked up in a glass box? They are intelligent, proud, powerful animals, not some trophy to be displayed.

Some like to keep them in cages in order to milk them on a regular basis in order to create anti-venom to save people like you who like to pet them in the wild. Just a thought.

Some ppl understand that a caged snake can't kill you unless you let it out. Looks like you're gonna learn that the hard way someday.
That's the road you're headin down. You reached in to touch a schlegelli ? You're not too smart are ya bud. When ya gonna start freehandling it.
        ...........hippies.............
Caged animals are safe animals, safe from attacking others, safe from getting stuck behind the fridge, safe from getting lost, safe from going extinct.
You need to start handling that schlegelli more often...........

"safe from attacking others"? ...most bites are from animals in captivity.
"safe from getting stuck behind the fridge"? ...far safer if it lived in a snake den. snakes don't have fridges. really.
"safe from getting lost"? ...it IS lost, far from its home.
"safe from going extinct"? ...well, this one I could go on and on about...

...also apparently not safe from its owner killing it by causing it to smash its head against the glass. GET REAL.

I love reptiles, especially Gila Monsters, and would NEVER selfishly keep one.
