Re: List your favorite venomous
Wed, January 21, 2004 - 7:59 AMHahahaha Something we dissagree on.. LOL
Gabbys I dont like that much.
I know snakes dont really have much for brains but if there was ever a dumb one that would be it.... I also know that that is just my interpatation of its habbits that it gets from where it lives..... and how it doesnt need to work for food. Or water.... It live right next to water and food just comes to it.. They are pretty but that dont make up for its lack of ability to adapt or care for its self if were in a different surounding..
Jusy my thought but I think you allready knew how I felt about them??

Re: List your favorite venomous
Wed, January 21, 2004 - 5:47 PM...I sure did Dave. I don't think they're dumb, just stunted somehow. There's just something missing with them. It's so sad. but I love them and will care for whatever ones I have and put out the effort for them in every way I can.
I'm not saying anything against what you said or think....I'm just stating as a Kathy statement. I wonder if thyr named after the small town of "Gabon" in Africa? hmmmmmmm -

Re: List your favorite venomous
Thu, February 5, 2004 - 9:45 PMI guess the only venomous snakes I have handled are rattlers. timber and pacific coast. i have a special place in my heart for them. At one time I lived ina tipi and had 3 Pacific Coast rattlers as pets. they were my watchdogs and *belive me* no intruder evr bothered me. I kept all three in one terrarium and teh challange was cleaning it up. You had to remove them one by one and always keep an eye on teh other two when you were removing one!

I hope to meet all of you over the next few days :) If you have any questions fire away i'm new to tribes but not too new to reptiles. Take care one and all

Re: List your favorite venomous
Wed, October 11, 2006 - 11:15 AMThe beautiful, sacred, mustical, worshipable, hypnotic, blissful, loving, cobra that the Hindu God Shiva wears. My favorite cobra, next to all the cobras in the Hindu cobra temples, and at the naag panchami. Third would be the hypnotically swaying snake charmers's cobra. And for cartoon snakes it would be Kaa. Thanks for letting me express myself. Love, Vel
